Fire Chief Stephen Dean Approves On-Duty Boot Drive for Brad Cox

Fire Stephen Chief Dean has approved the city of Mobile fire rescue firefighters to conduct the Fundraising Boot Drive on-duty. The news of Fire Chief Stephen Dean approving firefighters to conduct the fundraising Boot Drive on-duty was sent out on Tuesday November 9, 2010 in a departmental e-mail message.

Fire Stephen Chief Dean has approved the city of Mobile fire rescue firefighters to conduct the Fundraising Boot Drive on-duty. The news of Fire Chief Stephen Dean approving firefighters to conduct the fundraising Boot Drive on-duty was sent out on Tuesday November 9, 2010 in a departmental e-mail message.

 

The Boot Drive fundraiser that has been planed for firefighter/ volunteer fire Chief Brad Cox was originally planned for firefighters to conduct while off duty because Brad Cox had been injured while off-duty fighting a fire on Dauphin Island as a volunteer fire Chief.

 

Fire Chief Stephen Dean has also approved that on-duty firefighters will be able to conduct the Fundraising Boot Drive for an extended two extra consecutive weekends to be added to the Boot Drive Fundraiser for Brad Cox.

 

Mobile Firefighter/Volunteer Fire Chief Brad Cox of Dauphin Island was taken to USA Medical Hospital with burns to his body and for smoke inhalation while fighting a raging fire on 550 Barcelona Drive that destroyed four homes on Dauphin Island Tuesday morning October 5, 2010.

I don't understand why more of the people here on Factoidz aren't behind you on this one. Are well all that selfish and self-centered that we can reach out to a family in need.
